Sporting Lagos’ manager Jeffrey Buter will appear before a Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL panel for his post match comments.
The 38 year old coach accused match referees and EuroMatch board of bias against the newly promoted team.
Buter made the comment in a heated interview after Sporting’s 0-0 draw with local Rivals Ikorodu City in Lagos.
After studying Buter’s comments, the League organisers summoned the young tactician to appear before a panel on Wednesday 7 October 2026 in Abuja.
The League body wants Buter to substantiate allegations of collusion by the EuroMatch-NPFL board and the Nigeria Referees Association NRA to influence the outcome of their match against Ikorodu City.
In a letter to the coach, the NPFL asked Buter to bring along evidence to the Abuja hearing to support his allegations.
