Divine Nwachukwu of Bendel Insurance has described the ongoing 2022/2023 NPFL play-offs inside the Mobolaji Johnson Arena as a championship that would not only produce the overall champions for the 2022/2023 NPFL season but it will help produce solid teams that will represent the country in the forthcoming African club championships.
Nwachukwu who drew the first blood in the game his side played against Sunshine Stars informed GTI Media that the second drawn game by his side though worrisome assured their fans that there’s still great hope in the horizon.
“We are working hard to achieve success. We are not afraid of any team. We have played each other during the regular season and so we are ready for the worst.
“Coming into this competition with clean slate is yet another heavy burden, but we are working around it to get our first win in this tight championship,” he stated.
He however revealed that the play-off is leaving up to its billing among the various teams, technical benches and the match officials.
“The whole thing looks seamless though as humans there must be one hitch or the other here and there. But the train is moving on smoothly too,” he concluded.
