Gusau disclosed this during his opening remarks at the inauguration of the elected members of the NPFL in Abuja. He reminded the NPFL board that their appointment is based on their track record of success, which must be replicated in the league. Habib Yakub has completed a move to Nigeria Premier League side, Remo Stars, DAILY POST reports. The left-back was declared surplus to requirement by Sunshine Stars last season. Habib will be hoping to turn his career around with the Sky Blue Stars. He showed a glimpse of his qualities during the 2021-22 season, where he managed five assists for the Akure Gunners under the tutelage of coach Emmanuel Deutsch. James Ajako has signed a three-year contract with Moroccan giants FUS Rabat. According to reports, the 20-year-old left-back has already passed his medical with the club. Ajako is expected to be unveiled later this week by FUS Rabat. The player appeared in all of Akwa United’s Nigeria Professional Football League matches last season. He netted three times and provided five assists during the 2022-23 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
