Bayelsa United attacking midfielder, Wisdom Magbisa was in fine form as he scored and made an assist to help his side blaze past Plateau United on match day 34 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL on Sunday evening.
Magbisa 18 yard volley in the 40th minute opened score for the Restoration boys before providing an assist for Tekena Garando in the 43rd minute to end the half 2-0.
The Meremu led side went ahead to win 3-2 to further brightened their survival race in the NPFL.
“It was a game we really needed to win. “I thank God that we got the victory,” said Magbisa.
“I am very happy to score in my first start of the season. It a good one and I want to continue from there.
“We pushed hard in training and give our best. I just want to let the fans know we will give our best and we are going to escape relegation,” Magbisa enthused.
Bayelsa United are placed 17th in the log with 42 points from 34 games and will next host Sporting Lagos
