Head Coach of goalkeepers trainer ,Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Kola Ige has assured that the club will continue to strive to achieve the yearnings and aspirations of the club.
The former U20 goaltender maintained that the Ibadan Soccer Lords will finish the 2023/24 season at the enviable position.
The former Bayelsa United, shot stopper admitted that the Oluyole Warriors had a string of poor results due to injury crisis but hinted that few legs will be added to strengthen the team ahead of second stanza.
The versatile keepers trainer promised that the club will return to its winning ways reiterating that the grey areas have been identified by the club management and corrected accordingly.

Speaking during the media Parley held on Tuesday at the Club’s office, Jericho Ibadan on the structure put in place by goalkeeping department, Kola Ige stated that the fans will see new faces that will churn out desired results adding that the team will continue to fight to get better
“We understand the feelings of our fans on the position we are on the log but that is not to say we are also happy. We will keep on pushing to get to that level we are aiming.”
“The important thing is that we are winning after a winless run and we are not ready to take our foot off the pedal. If not for a dramatic fashion against Enyimba, I think the position would have been probably different from where we are”, said the lanky trainer.
“I must commend the government, the Management, coaching crew and of course the players for their efforts towards making things happen. It’s not over until it’s over. We still have 20 matches ahead of us which I believe is enough to put things right”. Stated the ex youngster
