Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) coach, Gbenga ogungbote of 3sc has lamented his team’s defeat to Niger Tornadoes.
The Week 28 match played in Minna saw the Oluyole Warriors leading the host for most part of the game before capitulating to surrender the maximum points.
According to coach Ogunbote, 3SC ought not to have lost the match had his players being more careful during the course of the match.
Speaking after the match Ogunbote said after leading 1-0 in the first half and coming to concede two cheeky goals in the second half was a carelesss one and painful.
“I think we were careless. The two goals were give away, especially the second one in the aded time. It was very unfortunate. I don’t like discussing my players in the press, when get home, we will look into that and make anends,” he said. Coach Ogunbote is however full of praises for Christian Pygbara who scored the for 3SC to take his tally to four goals in four games.
“It’s good for him and he is getting better. The only painful thing is that the goal today did not give us three points.
3SC’s next match will be against Sunshine Stars of Akure in Ibadan.
