Coach of NPFL side Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede has attributed the 2-2 draw his team played with Enyimba of Aba at the ongoing NPFL Championship Playoff at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena Onikan, Lagos to his team playing to instruction.
The Remo Stars on two occasions came from behind to cancel their opponent’s goals to share the spoils with them.
According to him, even when they were a goal down, he knew that they will cancel out the goal because the players applied what he told them on how to approach the game, even as he heaped praises on his boys for redeeming a point in Match Day 1 of the competition.
“Our game against Enyimba was a tough match but I’m happy that my boys played to instruction which made us come back two times to cancel their goals and earn a point in the match.
“We hope to keep on improving with each game and will not give unnecessary respect to any of the teams because we’re not here to complete the numbers but to pick a continental ticket at the end of hostilities,” he concluded.
