Enyimba International FC of Aba technical head, George Findi has dismissed fears being nursed by the numerous fans of his team of possible dismal showing at the ongoing NPFL Championship Play-off in Lagos adding that their game against Remo Stars of Abeokuta was one game both sides took their time in order not to start on a wrong footing.
He insisted that as a matter of fact, Remo is no pushover team as both of them played during the season and if one watched closely they were very cautious during the opener.
“The first match of every tournament proves difficult and trust that Enyimba as one of the oldies in the NPFL will come out better when the chips are down.
“We played that game with great caution and vividly no team is small in a championship like this. Every team is in Lagos to win the trophy and each must strive to do that.
”Enyimba versus Remo game is gone, we are earnestly planning for the next game and we hope to take it from there,” he said.
The ex-international turned coach further said that his team is one of the frontline teams in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and will not disappoint her fans.
