Doma United could not consolidate on their impressive 0-3 away victory against Gombe United, last time out, after they were held to a goalless draw by visiting Bendel Insurance at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe, in a rescheduled Match Day Six fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Savannah Tigers were unable to break down the defensive shape of the Benin Arsenals who came into the game with a cautious approach.
Bendel Insurance had the first opportunity of the game through Paul Obata which went wide.
Andrew Majalisa missed a chance to give Doma the lead before halftime but it also went wide. Emmanuel Jesam missed another opportunity for the hosts in the second half, as the game ended goalless in a tight contest.
Doma United still has another outstanding game against Enyimba FC which will be played at a later date.
Insurance, who now occupy the seventh position with eleven points from six games, will face Niger Tornadoes next in a Match Day eight fixture.
