NPFL champions Enyimba FC have joined the family of Stake which includes Nigerian UFC star Israel Adesanya and Premier League side Everton.
UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is happy to see a Nigerian team join the Stake family.
Adesanya welcomed NPFL champions Enyimba football club as they put pen to paper on a deal with Stake.
The People’s Elephant took to their social media account to confirm the deal ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
According to a report by Pulse Sports, the champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) announced the multi-millionaire shirt sponsorship deal via their official X.com account late Wednesday.
The Elephants noted that Stake, who is also the sponsor of Nigerian fighter Adesanya, will be their official shirt sponsor on a multi-year deal.
Stake already has several high-profile athletes, apart from Adesanya, with music superstar Drake, and Manchester City legend Kun Aguero and Everton as clients.
In the announcement vidoe posted by the Aba side, UFC champions Adesanya made an appearance.
The proud Nigerian welcomed the People’s Elephants with an message as he looks to link up with the club.
“What’s up, Enyimba?” Adesanya began in the video. “You know who it is.”
“I just want to say welcome to the Stake family and i can’t wait to see how the journey unfolds and when we link up together. Ese and peace,” he added.
