Following a goalless draw played against Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan during Match Day 10 of Nigeria Premier Football League, held in Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan, the General Manager of Heartland Football Club of Owerri, Mr Promise Nwachukwu has hailed the contributions of the Executive Governor of the state, Governor Hope Uzodinma over the team’s welfare package
Nwachukwu stated this in an exclusive interview with Varsportnow.blogspot.com on Sunday shortly after the Naze Millionaires held the Oluyole Warriors to a scoreless draw
The ageless football adds said the immense contributions of the number one citizen in terms of welfare package is really helping the young team to blend solidify.
The five time league champions boss, then, expressed happiness over the point shared in Ibadan even though he claimed that they targeted three maximum points against Ibadan Soccer Lords.
The Junior International thereafter assured their teeming fans that that the club will consolidate on the gains when they play hosts to Bendel Insurance on Wednesday for Match Day 11 of Nigeria Premier Football League .
” We prepared well for this game and we are of course targettted the three maximum points but a point is not bad. I just want to let you know that the government of Imo State, ably led by His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma had done wonderfully well for Heartland Football Club and he’s doing more. So, what is expecting from us is just to go there and win and forget every other thing. He has been there in terms of welfare package as he is giving us100% support for the players, management, and the coaches”

On the match against Insurance, Nwachukwu said the team will prepare very well and go for the maximum points.
“What we expect in every match is a win, not even a draw. So. We are going to prepare very well against Insurance as we did against Shooting Stars and by the grace of God, we are going to come out victorious” . Nwachukwu assured.
